I'd never heard of Turks and Caicos but Cricket recommended it to us (she's been everywhere for such a young person??) and said that it has the most beautiful beaches in the world - apparently!!  Cannot wait, I'm going to thoroughly research it so that I am totally familiar to it before I get there.

This morning was a bit rough on my head, but that soon passed as Morpheus called me "his beautiful wife" when I turned over, hold on though, wasn't that yesterday?  Anyway we were meeting Sharon and Ray plus others in Boxers for brunch which is now actually not Boxers anymore but has the same decoration and a new name...don't know what it is though.

So there we were chugging down Bloody Mary's, great hangover drink and devouring the menu (Jesus, all I seem to be doing this weekend is stuffing my face).  Carl and Sumiko joined us, they looked particularly stressed and fed up (pre wedding stress), also Silvina was there looking, as usual very pretty with Louis (I think that's his spelling) who was over from Colorado.  The lunch wasn't very good but it was good to get out of the house and be civilized.  At the end we all left and said our good-byes.  I'm not sure when we'll see Ray and Sharon again, but I know I won't see Silvina again until we have a cocktail party OR she does.  I wouldn't mind but she lives on Central Park West..............  Now there's a thought, she's single isn't she??  Aha, Silvina if your reading this, then email me girlfriend, I may have the perfect chappy for you......

"Waking Ned Divine" has just finished, if you've not seen it (especially to Americans) then you must, it's a beautiful wonderfully made film.

My mate Julie from Manchester rang before to thank me for her Pussy Phone that I sent to her and Nik for a housewarming present.  It's a brilliant piece of kitsch, basically it's a white plastic cat that's curled up on the floor, you pick it up to reveal dials and mouthpiece on the bottom.  She loves it, I'm so glad.
She asked me about my outfit for Lisa's wedding coming up in October.  We yabbered on about our friends up and coming wedding, what we were wearing, you know the usual girly gossip that I absolutely love.....  I really miss her a lot, she's the only person in the whole world (except for Morph man of course) that really knows where I'm coming from and doesn't take my shit...

So apparently that French Fabien guy is going to be Manchester United's new goalkeeper, (English football team, best in the world) which I guess is news enough but ALSO he dates Linda Evangelista (ex super model), so the question is, "will she move to good old Manchester".  Christ I love Manchester, it's where I'm from, but come on Linda Evangelista and Manchesterdon't exactly mix...know what I mean.

Ok I'm going to sign off now, order some chinese food and return to my lying position on the couch ready for "Sex and the City"
