It has been absolutely wonderful, great guests, great food, lots of booze, way too many cigarettes, lovely white gleaming sand and beautiful fabulous tides.

There's just myself, Buddy Weiser and Cricket here now.  Josie and Kirk left a while ago, I think Kirk gets antsy when it comes to travelling and he didn't want to get caught in walk way traffic in the subway...whatever!!!  I think they both had a good time though...

So this morning I was woken by jack hammers coming from the next door house.  The woman who lives there is on the board of governors for Fire Island so she has a bunch of these guys at present fixing up her huge house.  Jesus they were making soo much friggin noise, but they didn't start until 9am so I couldn't exactly complain.  I got to the beach at 10:40am to get in as much sun today as possible, Josie joined me for a while but like I said above she couldn't stay long because Kirk wanted to get on the road.

Cricket has been a love and replaced all the soda and paper towels for the house, also Buddy completely cleaned the house up and put out all the recycling, they are such good mates to do that while I'm laying on my fat arse on the beach.....typical!!

I'm actually quite glad to be getting back and sleeping in my own bed tonight, which will only be for 1 night as tomorrow we're off up to Cold Springs to J's place for the weekend.  It'll be a blast this weekend, Cricket is coming plus Candy and Morpehus, oh yeah, we're gonna have fun...

So this evening I'm going to chill with the man and catch up on all my crappy mail.  Actually I must remember to call my mother tomorrow, haven't spoken to her for weeks.

The journey back today should be a breeze, 20 minutes on the ferry getting some more sun, then a lift back in Buddy's cool Mercedes SLS with a sun roof, as Cricket just said "it's a long white one, that's really old, but dead cool".
