I awoke to the smell of crispy bacon and scrambled eggs.  Of course after I nearly broke my legs to throw myself downstairs I realized that EVERYONE else was already up and about, even Cricket was u, which is rare, I've seen this girl sleep, believe me she doesn't move too well in the morning......only kidding girlfriend!!

So Mary Anne had set up the kitchen table with fresh orange juice, coffee, bagels, cream cheese, just everything you desire first thing in the morning, well actually it was about 11 now.  God I love this, it's liking staying in a bed and breakfast....

So the evening before Mary Anne had mentioned that the town were playing Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" in the park.  This sounded great to us, so we decided that considering we are in a town that specializes in antique stores that we would head out in search of the perfect picnic basket.  I ended up purchasing one at a complete steal for only $18, it was beautiful, the lid was decorated with lots of roses in decoupage, don't ask me as I've never heard of it except for when "Rosie" mentions it on her show.  It some kind of decoration that you can do to, well picnic baskets I guess that make them look pretty....whatever!!

So I buy the basket, walk around endless antiques stores in the hot heat feeling like shit with my huge hangover.  Then we go and sit outside this quaint little cafe bar, order fresh homemade lemonade which is to die for and have a bite to eat.  Mary Anne rang for tickets to the "Taming of the Shrew" to find that they're all completely sold out....SHIT SHIT SHIT!!  I'm gutted, I was really in the mood to sit on the grass with little finger sandwiches and some wine getting seriously cultured.  So what the hell am I going to do with this basket now, I think I'm going to leave it here at the house, we don't have anywhere for it to live at our place, even though a romantic picnic in Central Park would be nice....

Tonight was Professor's barbecue night, which consisted of ribs with a fabulous sauce, chicken, corn on the cob, cucumber, tomato and onion salad and lashings of fabulous red wine from Professor's personal cellar.  We'd also started with a few vodka and lemonades so we were already pretty buzzed by the time we ate.  I felt a little bit delicate this evening so we took it easy, then after dinner I relapsed, but then soon got giddy and stayed up AGAIN till 4:30am...disgusting behavior.  Actually most of the evening was spent listening to Candy talk about her new young embryo that she's dating, I think he's only 25, she's a dirty old woman that one.  He called while we were all there which was a bad mistake for him because I grabbed the phone of her and started to ask him lots of questions just to see how far I could push him.  This I'm sure was a very stupid thing to do and I'm sure that this particular guy thinks that I'm a complete idiot, silly drunken cow.......can't blame him for that.  Anyway she seems pretty happy with him, although she does say that he's interesting to talk to etc.  HHHEELLLOOO when you start dating a 25 year old, you don't talk to him sweetie, you just shag him....COMPRENDE!!!

We really did have a laugh tonight, I love being with everyone here, there's no pressure for me to entertain and be permanently happy and lively, even though I do feel like that , I don't HAVE TO BE like that which makes a huge difference to me.  I just sit back and let Professor do all the story telling....perfect!!!
