I' m a very happy person today, my very clever writer friend Bridget, is taking me to see the screening of "Perfect Storm", the new Clooney movie.  She has to go and see it because she's is interviewing someone who is associated with the movie.  At first I misheard her and thought that she was going to interview George Clooney....HHHEEELLLLOOO!  time to shackle myself to her ankles I think.  But alas no, just some other boring unattractive person.  God that's terrible, he or she might be fabulous.

So I'm meeting her in the lobby downstairs at 1:40pm, then afterwards I am meeting Ty and Precious here to firstly watch Ty's sonogram video (she's 5.5 months preggers, can't wait until that little thing plops out into the bright world that I live in) and then they're taking me to dinner for my birthday.  Isn't that nice?

The European Cup has started in England.  The next important game for England is this coming Saturday against the Germans (remember 66'), which we have to beat to get into the next round.  So before the bowling I think myself and Morpheus plus other English lunatics will head down to the sports bar in Tribeca OR pretty much anywhere else that is showing the match.  This is very important for us Brits you know, Football is our heritage, it's not just kicking a ball around, it's a passionate sport, with passionate feelings attached to it.

A note to my number one fan out in Los Angeles...Mr Perfect Banana how the devil are you.  I hear from a fabulous source that you only search my daily pages for a certain name, if it doesn't come up, you don't read the page.  Well in that case:

PRECIOUS

Will that do???

Ok I have to go shower and head off to the screening, later.......

5:05PM
"Perfect Storm" was truly perfect.  Honestly it was brilliant, you'd of never thought that a movie ostensibly about a bunch of guys going fishing could be so exciting.  Right from the start it was full-on, never breaking for a dull moment.
My friend Bridget who's the writer was supposed to interview John C. Reilly who was in the film, he's also in "True West" on Broadway with Philip Seymour Hoffman.  You know he's one of those actors that you've seen everywhere but can't pick a film that he's been in.  Anyway I think she was supposed to interview him after this screening, but the poor girls was in bits by the time we left.  Honestly, one minute she was throwing her arms in the air, the next she was in tears.....what a love, great to watch a movie with someone that REALLY partakes in the whole movie watching experience.

Now I'm going to try and find something to wear this evening before the girls arrive

adios....
