I surprisingly feel ok today, which is pretty amazing considering I only had 5 hours sleep last night.  We got up at midday after not getting to bed until 7am this morning, and do you know why, it's because we're SUPER HUMAN HEROES!!

Actually, no I think it was something to do with vanity and desperately wanting to turn brown, hence the sudden wake-up due to the sun streaming through our window.  Morpheus went up ahead of me as he gets his shit together and lot quicker than I do in the morning.  This is good though because it means that he will secure me a lounger and I can just stroll up there and flop back down and return to my slumber....what a life!!.

OK so I think I've got pathetic, American, I'm such a wuss ALLERGIES!  Crap Crap Crap. Not happy AT ALL.  I'm British,  we don't do ALLERGIES.
It started yesterday with my right eye, which starts to weep and then won't stop.  It wasn't too bad yesterday, just annoying, but today it got quite painful, so I had to come back downstairs at 3:30, which is far too early to be retiring from the afternoon sun, but it was really bugging me and making me miserable.

All was not lost though as I retired to bed with my new brilliant book.  It's a biography about Diane Arbus, written by Patricia Bosworth.  I'm only on page 67 but I'm totally hooked.  My friend Santino was telling me that he used to live in an apartment on Westbeth and during his time there he never felt at ease, like there was a bad vibe in the apartment or something.  Anyway he later found out that the apartment was the one that Diane Arbus had lived and committed suicide in....

So I'm loving this book, my other two favorite books aside from this are: The Professor and the Madman (brilliant) and Complicity by Ian Banks (Wild)

So we taped the new Sex and the City tonight and watched the Tony's.  The Tony's were ok, Contact won best musical, not sure if it really deserves it considering some of the other wonderful shows that it was up against.  After the Tony's we watched Sex and the City, I love this program, I'm so pleased that it's back on. I do have one little itsy bitsy complaint, what's with the prostitute look that Sarah Jessica Parker was personifying???  Usually she always looks fabulous with her great shoes and dresses, but last night she just looked like a hooker. What was with that faux fur coat she was wearing, it was awful, looked like she grabbed it from an old thrift store. I was really surprised, maybe I'm getting old and farty but I don't think so!! Does Patricia Field (their dress designer) have a web site?  I hope so as I love her clothes (except Carrie's last night).  I wasn't impressed with Samantha's choice of fireman.  I, like most women I know, love and adore firemen, they are THE true men of this world. STRONG, FEARLESS, MUSCULAR, GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL FIREMEN.  So why did they choose all the ugly crappy ones last night? I, for one see our local firemen all the time and they are cute as buttons, let me tell you.....  I know they were trying to make out that her fantasy of firemen wasn't exactly true, who cares about the other fat pigs, SHE GOT A SHAG AGAINST A FIRE TRUCK......you can't get any better than that girls!!!
