So today was a bit of a wash out due to the aching pain in my head most of the day. Actually considering we didn't get home until this morning, we got up around 1pm...not bad. That's probably why I felt like shit most of the day.
The weather was in the late 50's today, so we didn't feel too bad about not going anywhere. Morpheus order lots of toiletry cosmetics from Rite Aid online, plus clothes from Banana Republic. Poor guy, he was very restless today.
Actually I thought that I would get a major bollocking off my friends Lucy and Grant, as we were due to go out with them and some other friends this evening. Of course I felt like crap, so I wasn't going anywhere. My intention was to let the answer machine get all the calls, however this plan completely backfired, when Lucy called from her hotel and said that even though we weren't around, that she was going to come over around 8:30pm anyway. Whoa....just hold on a minute sweetie. I called back, and explained how our previous night was. She was very understanding and said she'd speak with us tomorrow.
So tonight we watched
Martin Scorcese's "Bringing Out The Dead". The script was brilliant,
some of the scenes he shot were outstanding, BUT, for me, I didn't really
dig it. Mr Scorcese has his own personal style in filming and I admire
that greatly, but for me his films are somewhat too bleak and I really
wasn't in the mood for it this evening. Christ, I've dug my own grave
dissing a MS film??
I watched Saturday
Night Live tonight, which I never do, not because I don't like it, because
I do, I just always miss it for some reason, OR, I'm out .....whatever.
Anyway Britney Spears was hosting tonights show, she was really good, also
sang a number as well. One of the scenes was unbelievable, it featured
Angeline Jolie (Molly Shannon) and Billy-Bob Thornton (other comedian),
plus one of the comedians played her brother and some girl played Angeline's
and her brothers fucked up kid, which had a babys arm sticking out of it's
head. I'm telling you, it was sick, but absolutely brilliant.
I can't believe they get away it, good for them.
Unfortunately myself
and Morpheus didn't manage the end of SNL, because we are completely knackered...so
off to bed we go.
Goodnight, sleep
tight
