My friend (Jen) at work is pregnant which is wonderful and very exciting.
She's only just starting to show now, I think she's just over 4 months,
not sure though....
So, I think she thought I was in a bad mood, I wasn't, I just ended
up doing a job that I'd forgotten about and hadn't really wanted to be
in the basement on such a wonderful. Yes, did I tell you, we all
work in a farty, smelly basement in the theatre......NICE!!!
The things is what I don't think she realises is that HER hormones
are kicking in big time and that SHE'S the one who's going through a few
mood swings. To be fair on Jen though, I don't think she's sleeping
real way and it's taking it's toll on her. RELAX WOMAN,
RELAX
Before going out this evening my friend Judge from England rang to say hi. It was great to here from him, we usually speak through email, but it's always better to here each others voice. Even though at first we didn't really have much to say to each other because we speak that often down the line. He seems really happy with his life at the moment, especially his wife and their beautiful little girl. HOWEVER, I do get the impression that he misses the partying life quite a bit, now that he's calmed down.
So a gang of us went to Waterloo this evening for dinner. We live
in that place, so I didn't dress up....yeah, like that's an excuse.
During the meal Cricket turned up on her new bicycle that she adores, even
though she only lives two friggin blocks away from Waterloo. She
let me cycle the bike home after dinner which was great fun but probably
stupid considering I was half cut. So during our dinner we
had to wait FOREVER for our entree, which is unusual at Waterloo, because
they know us and we always get great service. Apparently there's
was a rather large party in, so that's why they were delayed. So
I went to the bathroom after the meal and when I got back everyone was
looking a bit sheepish. What had happened was that everyone put their
money in (Morpheus was getting mine) and they had only left 10% because
of the wait....christ, don't take it out on the waiter it's not his fault.
Anyway the waiter had come back and said that the tip wasn't enough.....whoa,
good for him. So they all felt bad and gave him some more money.
I love the waiters over here, they just don't give a shit, if they want
more, they just come right out and say it.
We're soooo uptight in England, that would never happen. However
the waiter would probably remember you the next time and get his revenge
then.
So apart from my exciting bicycle ride home that was pretty much it for Tuesday night. Good night, enjoyed it
