I was interested to read about Lazio, the new runner for Senate, let's see what he can do.  Apparently though both himself and Hillary have quite similar views, pro choice, environmental issues etc.  How can you choose between them if they both have the same ideals for how they should represent NY State??  How?? Hairstyle? Sex? Age?  Please!!

I haven't been to the gym since last Tuesday, which is diabolical.  Good God what is wrong with me, especially now, just as I'm about to hit the beach, instead I've sat around this week, nibbling at bad food like Pringles and high fat cheese.  I think I may be going through an early pre-menstrual as I have all the symptoms, then again I've been working from home a lot  this week, so with the kitchen being right behind me, it's tempting to eat.  I'll be good this week, (loving those Ripped Fuels pills) and then once I'm out at the house I'll just do salad, fish and fruit.  That should keep the fat globules off me for a bit!!

Actually Roger, the owner of the summer house rang this evening, in fact it was just before 11 which is pretty late.  Anyhow he was trying to explain that the house wasn't quite ready, but that to be assured it would be for us when we got there this coming Thursday.  Apparently it hadn't been ready for Sharri & Peter which I imagine wasn't particularly comforting for them, especially as the inside shower wasn't working and there were heavy storms as well that weekend.  I think after the construction work taking place, that the builders (typical) hadn't done such a good job of cleaning up.  Then again, my father has been in the building trade most of his working life and he would never clean up after a job.  So Roger is going to organize a cleaner to get there before we do and thoroughly scrub the place throughout.  He will pay for this, (very nice) and then we can decided to continue using him/her thereafter.  We checked out the extended forecast which only went up to this Fri 26 and it looks pretty good.  I cannot wait to be lying flat on my back on that beautiful beach.  I hate to be sooo white to start with but hey, there's not much I can do about that......

Must remember to stock up on mosquito killing equipment.  Can't stand those little bastards
