Sat May 6, 2000 - HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY TO ME AND MORPHEUS (and to anyone else who is celebrating their anniversary today)

I'm a very happy person today.  Yes, this is my 2nd wedding anniversary and yes it does go extremely quickly.  My god, where does time go???
So today was very romantic, in the morning Morpheus rushed out to pick up my gift.  I already gave him his which was a fabulous Nike sports bag with some extra sports clothes inside.  When he came home later he'd bought me a wonderful fabulous Nautica watch which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO PIECES.  Morpheus panicks when it comes to buying me watches as he always seems to think that I don't like the ones that he buys me.....HHHHEEELLLOOO.  The first watch he bought me was an Animal watch which I love and have worn for the past 5 years.  The second watch he bought me was from Christmas 98' which is a beautiful round faced, with black leather strap fancy pancy watch from Tiffany's which I only wear for best (like tonight for instance!).  And now this wonderful piece of wrist adornment....I love it!!  He's a sweetie.

You might be wondering why these particular presents?  Well, yes we know that for a 2nd anniversary your supposed to buy each other something in Cotton.  Ah ha!.....last week we bought each other cotton bath robes from Portico, which are lovely and cuddly.  So you see, we know what we're doing, thank you very much!!

We spent most of today up on the roof sunbathing.  Then this evening we got ready very slowly, had a couple of glasses of wine and then head over for our 10:15pm reservation at "One If By Land", Two By Sea".  The meal was divine, I had the Beef Wellington which is famous at this particular restaurant.  I can't remember what Morpheus had, enjoying mine too much to notice his.  The waiter was a little creepy and slimy but did his job extremely efficiently.
Of course after this delightful meal what we should of done (and we almost did, but not quite), was go home, have a glass of wine, go to bed, make love and wake up smiling.  Alas no, our friend Cricket phoned and insisted that we meet her and few others over at "Sway".  We had fun, but I wished that we hadn't gone as my head ached badly the next day.
