The restaurant is up on 27th and Park, apparently it's only been open a week which is great as I love going to brand new restaurants.
So anyway there we were, myself, Morpheus, Kajagoogoo, Michael and a new guy called Joe. He's an old friend of Kajagoogoos from Ohio and is a fabulous laugh. He works as a site locator for "Law and Order". Of course it didn't go down too well when I told that out of all the tv programs I watch, that regretfully I didn't watch his show. This statement got me a major amount of abuse from my new friend for the rest of the evening. Pretty cool job though, then again when it rains...maybe not. He was a riot I loved him. Although I thought he was gay but the guys said not. Whatever.... So my beautiful Michael was on top form tonight, cracking jokes, dishing out compliments, wonderful mood the boy was in!!
The food was ok, not brilliant, a french name but serving Asian cuisine. I guess you don't HAVE to serve french food if the name is french do you?
OK so then we all got in a cab and went down to the Windows of the World. On a Wednesday it's "Swing" night but not last night it wasn't. Jesus the place was absolutely packed, mainly with tourists but also a lot of bridge and tunnel people. I told Kiwi Boy about it as basically if your a bloke AND single and want to get some easy totty then I suggest you get your arse down there pronto. It was full of spotty young men letchering after chicks doing that stupid booty dance that you normally only see black women and the odd puerto rican do. It was a quite a place, I got myself a stool and took it all in.
Michael stole the show by dancing (not on the dance floor) with some totty rubbing her arse up his body. He's a great dancer and I think people were mainly watching him and not her. It was funny because when the song finished Michael quickly pecked her on the cheek and came back over to us. I don't think that was what she had in mind as she kept giving me daggers and doing soooo much to grab his attention again. He never saw a thing!!
I had been bored by only 15 minutes ahead of the boys which I was quite surprised at so we decided to leave and go to.....wait for it, yeah you guessed it The Barrow Pub. Talk about a classy end to the night...NOT!! No come on I love it there, it's full of family, people we know and love.
I can't remember much from then on as I was a little bit tipsy. Actually no that's a lie I do remember, in fact I remember very well. I got talking to this lesbian called Rose who was really really sweet. She's also got the prettiest face I've ever seen on a lesbo. Anyway we were chit chatting about all kinds of stuff. I think she said that she was from Minnesota and that her move here was because basically where she comes from no one understands the whole gay thing. I got the impression that her folks weren't too chuffed about it either. Also she's always been a lesbian, never kissed or shagged a bloke ever. Good for her!!
Morpheus was talking to Sean who is this smooth talking guy that comes in the bar that incidentally not only has manicures but gets them painted as well. What a big poof!! Anyway they were chatting away about digital stuff and I was chatting with the lesbian, it was all very civilised.
TODAY
Didn't do squat today, well that's not true I managed after a lengthy
process to find in the "New School University" manual the course that I
want to take. It's a web design and construction course which is
12 weeks long and will cost about $600. It's only a couple of hours
a week though so I'm hoping that I will get homework as well. It
might seem a bit strange to you lot out there that I'm taking a course
when I already do this page, but there's no harm in improving on what I
know, which isn't that much to begin with.
Kiwi Boy came round this afternoon with fairy cakes. This was a very sweet gesture on his part, as Kiwi isn't really made that way, but I liked it anyway. He'd been to see Morpheus as well to give him a great black possum sweater from New Zealand. This was also a very sweet gesture. I think it's becoming a dad, it's softened the old fart up!!
Tonight we have Candy's birthday celebrations (yeah I know, more) at I Trulli so I have to go and get ready.
