WELL, THAT'S NOT HAPPENED BECAUSE I AM ONE HUGE SNOT BAG!!
Honestly I'm so over this flu/cold/throat thing I've got. I'm sure that I kept Morpheus up all night with my 'old man' sounding coughs, pretty gross!!
Then again maybe this is a good day to be sick as it is absolutely pissing it down outside, like really lashing it. It's funny because our doormen here always say that when it rains it's a perfectly normal day for us because we must be used to this being from England. Jesus, hello, if it rained in England like it does here the country would stop in it's tracks. It couldn't handle rain like this, it's absolutely torrential here. The country would sink I'm telling you.....
So I promise today I will back track to the weekend and tell you all about our stay in Cold Springs. Don't bug me though, I'll do it, just don't know when.
Yvon came by last night, it was good to see her but I felt a bit guilty as I wasn't exactly jumping for joy when she came in because I felt like crap, though I'm she she didn't notice. So the thing is she's here all week and Andy Pandy works the night shift from like 6pm through to 1am, which to be honest is a pain for Yvon as she really hasn't got anywhere to go apart from our place or staying in New Jersey at his place which I'm sure is a bit boring by yourself. So obviously with me being ill and Morpheus working through till 10 most nights, it's not exactly feasible for her to be here.
So what is the girl to do? I feel that seeing as I'm in today
that I should call her and get her over here as I'm sure traipsing around
Manhattan in this weather isn't exactly good for her. But then when
she gets here she's just got me moaping about the place with my big snotty
red nose. Not exactly a peachy holiday for her is it. Actually
though maybe I'll see what's on at the movies across the street, even I
can wrap up and go there today. Ok will go shortly and call her.
It kinda sucks that Andy Pandy has to work those crazy hours while
she's here, that would certainly piss me off. Ok enough about that...
So the rehearsals have begun for Mel Brooks' "The Producers"
for Broadway. I absolutely cannot wait for that, especially as it's
starring Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane who are both fabulous.
In fact I think I'll call for tickets now, may as well be ahead of time,
as I'm sure they'll sell out completely.
Ok off to make myself more hot tea and take a hot bath
