So I hope everyone has moved there clocks forward by 1 hour.  Of course we forgot, like we do every year, but we just went for a walk today so it didn't really matter.

So last night was great, myself, Morpheus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Mary Anne all went to Les Halles downtown for some dinner.  Professor had to work so he couldn't make it.

The restaurant is just my sort of place, dark, oak pannelled walls, very french, tres good.  However the service was questionable.  First of all we'd only be sat down for like 5 minutes when the waitress came over to take our order.....ok sister, hang on a bit.  So we ordered, but I noticed that as soon as she thought she'd finished with our orders, she was off, faster than a rabbit on heat.  Of course we wanted to order some wine plus some club sodas but unless you were quick, there was no chance.

Then of course some dippy NEW waiter came round and attempted to take AWAY our wine glasses because he just assumed we weren't drinking wine. Well if our waitress had her way we wouldn't be, couldn't fucking catch if we tried.

Also Mary Anne wanted pepper, just pepper, not like hand picked friggin saffron threads, no just a bit of pepper on her Arugula salad, could she get it, could she bollocks. At last Aphrodite grabbed the manager who was kind of cute but knew it and made him get our pepper. Then of course as soon as he'd gone our stupid waitress came back with the pepper, I wouldn't mind but she'd nearly finished her salad by that time....dhhhh.

So I guess the meal was ok, me and Hermes had french onion soup which was lovely but fighting with that thick, sticky gruerre cheese that they put on top is a bloody nightmare.

Morpheus said today that last night had been a very "girly evening" which he didn't mean as a criticism, just that it WAS very girly, mainly just myself, Aphrodite and Mary Anne were doing all the yapping. Hey it's great, I'd much rather that than sit around talking about bloody baseball or crap like that. It was a very enjoyable evening, loved it.

Because we were way downtown, I hadn't realised that they've opened up so much of the area now, including the street that Century 21 is on (by the way it's re-opened if you didn't know) which is great but kind of weird as we were passing in the cab. It's still very sad to be down there and there are still hundreds of people just walking around, reading the memorabilia that hangs on every street lamp and fence.  I may go down again at some point in the evening just to get a look at what they've managed to clear away.

So today myself and Morpheus slept in, as usual, I was happy to see that my newly styled and coloured hair still looks fabulous, so that was a good way to start my day.  We went to the flea market on 26th and 6th to find a bureau to put all our glasses and decanters etc.  Unfortunately there wasn't anything at all, a few bits, but nothing that grabbed us.  I did see an English supermodel, can't remember her name, she has flaming red hair and a very plain face, she had bags of stuff, wonder what she bought?

We went over to Chelsea and had some brunch and now we're back home. Morpheus is doing his taxes online (booorrriinnggg...) and I'm doing this whilst watching a re-run of "The Osbournes" which I honestly believe I could watch FOREVER, it's fab.

Right then, that's it I'm off.....
