Well I have been busy this morning, up before 9, shit, shave, shampoo and off to the Vineyard Theatre to collect my work, beginning on Monday.
Although Ty now wants me to go with her to Vermont next Tues thru Fri to hang out with her and Olivia, but clearly I can't go as I DO have work to do. I know she's going to sulk but I can't expect the theatre to pay me and then not do the work?
So like the heading says I'm off to Cold Spring in 30 minutes with Professor and Mary Anne, who as usual is raining on our parade and tagging along, when she SHOULD be hard at work. I think it's probably Professor's fault, no doubt he went on about how he and myself were going to hang by the Lake at cocktail hour with some ice-cold Cosmopolitans. Clearly this would make ANYONE want to skive an afternoon of work, why not missy....
I wish Aphrodite and Hermes were coming up tonight but alas they have things to do, so I guess we'll see them tomorrow.
So tonight we are going to Xavier's a fancy restaurant that requires jacket BUT will only take cash for payment? Yes I know, how bizarre. Apparently they're closing soon, so maybe that's the reason. Anyway it's given me a great excuse to wear my new black swishy dress and I would of liked to wear my fab black high-heeled strappy shoes with them but for the life of me I can't find the bloody things. The only person I know who would fit into my canoe sized shoes is Marla, but I'm sure she hasn't got them. Maybe I left them in England the last time I was over, I'll call Lucy and see if she has them. If she has though, they'll be buggered now with her big Frodo feet.
So as I type this I'm charging up my camera so I will get some lovely shots of us having our picnic in Boscobel gardens and then to watch "Comedy of Errors" afterwards. Really looking forward to it, should be a riot.
