PHEW THAT WAS EASY!!...

Sorry Kiwi, not had time to do the site, been busy.

Ok so this morning we're both up at 8am because we have a phone number to call the Immigration people with regard to the fact that I've lost the godamn letters that we need to produce for our fingerprinting appointment at 9 this morning across the street.

Morpheus calls because to be honest I have absolutely no patience with people on the phone and generally want to put my hand down it and throttle them.  Best if he does it huh??

He finally gets a "live" person and she tells him that without our letters we actually need to go down to Federal Plaza near City Hall to re-apply for our letters.

THIS IS SHITE...THIS SUCKS.....BOLLOCKS!!

So, the silence is golden in the apartment, he's thinking and fuming, I'm panicking, feeling guilty but hating everything and everyone around me.  THINGS ARE NOT GOOD TO SAY THE LEAST.

Anyway Morpheus being as he is decides that fuck it, we should at least take everything we have (passports, papers, the works) over to the Green Card place on Houston street, play stupid, dress smart and see if they'll let us in without the letters.  I'm a little dubious to say the least.

Well, guess what? we get there, explain to them that we don't have our letters and then to our surprise and complete embarrassment find that really WE DO.  You see the fingerprint letters AND our confirmation of extended stay letters look EXACTLY the same, well I guess they have the same letterhead, so we sort of made an err, to say the least.  God how embarrassing, the guard laughed and so did we.

Once we filled in a form and went up to the desk, it was easy.  We were led separately away where we had our fingerprints taken, by computer no less, so no nasty black marks on fingers and we were done, in and out in less than 15 minutes...FANTASTIC!!

Once home I went ahead and did some work, Morpheus checked his email's and made a few calls and then we both went upstairs to work out.  A lovely day spent with Morpheus, rather unusual but fun.  Actually he was getting a few looks at the gym as most of the day people NEVER see Morpheus so they were kind of inquisitive as to who he was...ha!!

Your not supposed to use your cell phones around the pool area, but Morpheus didn't know this and took a call from work.  Anyway this very annoying spotty young teenage life guard marched up to him, but I stopped her before she could grapple the phone off him.  I explained that he didn't know the rules and that he would only be a minute, to which she replied..."well if everyone was a minute, no one would be OFF there phones".  I then got nasty (no surprise) and told her again that he didn't realise and that she should back off, to which she got all uppity and gave me daggers for the rest of the afternoon...silly little girl, don't bother honey, you won't win this fight.  I wouldn't mind but at least three other peoples phones had rang, they had answered and chatted for a while and she hadn't bothered them.  Probably because that was the time that she was too busy flirting with one of the trainers and not paying attention to people swimming, like she SHOULD BE DOING.

Ok so Sushi is ordered, my wine has just arrived and I am now all ready to sit, continue to watch "Outlander" with Sean Connery and relax.....

God is the Summer REALLY nearly over????
