Well this weather sucks. I had my whole day planned out, work in morning, gym at midday and then meet up with Michael and Christina around the pool for some afternoon fun in the sun. Well that's all messed up now, what with this crappy weather. Oh well I guess it's a break from the hot humid sun.
So I was happy to learn that finally my pal Christina from the gym has become a valuable spraggworld.com voyeur and I welcome her with open arms. I think she liked the site, she mentioned something about me being completely mad, or something like that.
I've just got back from the gym actually after having a very interesting conversation with Christine, the aerobics manager about a certain friend of mine who shall remain absolutely nameless. I also signed up for my complimentary boxing one-on-one for Monday at 10am, which I'm really looking forward to, I've always wanted to hit the ground floor and just punch the crap out of one of those boxing bags. Maybe I'll take up some boxing lessons and get really into it, it's a brilliant way to keep fit and my arms would just get majorly buffed.
I got a lovely thank you card today from Ellen and Mike Geismar, probably the most beautifully gorgeous looking couple I know. It was just to say thanks for the cereal bowl that I got them for their wedding gift. Listen I know that sounds crap but there was just one left on the on-line list from the set that she wanted, so I thought I'd be good and make up the set. Listen it's a very fancy cereal bowl, not your average one ok???
So today Morpheus was having lunch with Sharon who is over with Ray from Geneva. They are having a party tonight in their honor thrown by a fab gay couple that they know. I hope Morpheus got the address and time etc, probably not, you know...men.
So that should be fun, a little get together to attend to. I think these guys have like a FAB apartment around here somewhere, so not too far to trek...excellent.
Right then I have to do a bit more work, get showered and go and relieve Mary Anne of her "baby-sitting" duties for Professor as he had his miniscus removed from his knee today and is presently laid up at home. Now we all know that guys make bad patients, but this isn't just any guy, this is Professor people, the most demanding man in the world. It's bad enough that I have to drive him up in HIS CAR to Cold Spring next week for Labour Day weekend, but between now and then he's going to have Mary Anne and myself running around like lunatics.
Believe me, this visit this afternoon is purely to relieve her, because I know she'll be exhausted. I'm just going to buy him some cookies and milk, sit with him for 5 minutes, then go have my nails done....that's it
