We became good friends with them and had a lot of laughs around the pool, especially when it came to gossiping about the other people in our hotel.. Well it's easy to do because there's only 15 rooms and we knew people that were in 3 of them, of whom we all became friends with.
Carla is studying medicine and I think Moses is going to be studying International Business, which I'm thinking is right up his street as he is very smart and I bet his father's some kind of industrialist or something.
I've lost their email addresses which has pissed me off, because I wanted to email them both. Hopefully they'll read this and get in touch.
So for a lot of the day, AND the evening which was a riot as that boy can drink, so we were hitting the tequila shots with a vengeance. I love people that can drink, especially ones that are like 12 years younger than myself, it's kind of fun to hang with the youngsters.
One thing though that wasn't pushed on anyone was to feel that we had to have dinner with our friends from the hotel. We'd all usually chit chat during the day, you know hang out by the pool drinking margaritas or whatever we fancied. Then we'd go back to our rooms in the late afternoon, have a siesta, get ready and head on out to meet the rest of them for a evening cocktail. We'd sit around for a while and then all go off in different directions to eat with our loved ones. It was never brought up, having dinner with each other which was great, the way it should be, especially because once you do it the once, then you feel like you have to dine with them every night, and no one wants that, so it worked out well. (We did eat with Moses and Carla at one point, but I'll get on to that later)
I can't remember where we dined tonight? Oh hold on it was the tree top place that began with A, yeah I know I'm crap. Beforehand though I made Morpheus take some pictures of me sitting amongs the billowing sheets on the day beds. They look great in the day, but at night there wonderful, I think I want them in my apartment, not on the bed of course, but billowing down from the ceiling, then again I'd have to leave my windows open ALL THE TIME, for them to billow and I guess that wouldn't be such a good idea.
Oh god I've just remembered we did have Moses and Carla round for drinks in our suite that evening, as well as Skip who is the most fabulous woman I've ever met. She cracks me up, yes, she's an elderly lady, although I won't reveal her age, but my god she parties with the youngest of the young. Let me put it this way, she embarrassed us all back at our suite tonight, that woman is cool, she rocks.
And no she wasn't by herself, she was with Chessy, her crazy daughter who happens to be a famous singer/rock star in Switzerland. Yeah ok WE may not have heard of Chessy Weaver, but the people in Switzerland certainly have, she's like their version of Britney or Aguilera, you know?
I haven't heard her sing, and I'm sure she wouldn't of even if I'd of asked, but I got the feeling that she probably has a pretty powerful set of lungs going on there.
So after our little session in the room, we all went our separate ways and headed on out to eat, which was kind of funny because I'm sure my food wasn't exactly fantastic but I certainly cleaned that plate within a matter of minutes I can tell you.
Came back, hung at the bar and crashed, it's shattering lying around all day, having the odd margarita and dining with your loved one, just shattering.
