Oh yeah, the airports like 10 minites away, clearly they DO NOT want you waste any time whatsoever travelling, they want you in, checked and ready to gamble.
Our hotel is huge, it's a bloody great big gold thing with thousands of rooms, fab, loved it. The room was nice, two big assed beds and a great bathroom with two sinks and the best tub I've ever seen.
We unpacked, had a bite to eat and then decided to head downstairs and hit the tables. Actually we ended up on the slot machines for most of the evening, well we didn't want to get too silly on our first night and we reckoned the slot machines were quite safe. Yeah right....
They do tend to get boring because your just hitting the button all the time and nothing's happening, except maybe you'll get a few extra credits because some cherry has turned up on the winning line. So on and on we went, for hours it seemed. The good thing though is that you get free drinkies while your punching the button so you do have a hand free to slurp away.
I was nearly down $60 when I finally struck lucky. My credits starting totting up until I realised that I had won $240 which after putting down $60 isn't so bad. Of course because I'm a wuss I cash out and ran straight over to the woman to get my quarters changed into hard cash. Morpheus was looking a bit put out, although I think he was truly happy for me, so he continued for a while and then he got lucky as well. The boy won $400 and over I think, jammy bugger. So for our first night we did quite well.
I think he wanted to upgrade and go onto the Roulette table (my favorite actually) but I was tired and wanted to go up and I don't think he wanted to be left downstairs with the "proper gamblers" by himself.
We watched a movie and crashed, he we got a busy day tomorrow....
