Which reminds me the whole non-drinking thing didn't exactly last long, but I'm trying, not guzzling as usual, sipping like a lady I am. I guess we'll see how long it lasts, it's soooo hard though, unless I never go out again how can I possible NOT have a little drinky, it's impossible.
OK so anyway if anyone fancies seeing this play then call and make reservations on 212 613 5826. You won't be disappointed, Ayla is very good at this sort of stuff.
Actually we have tickets available for our show Brutal Imagination starring Joe Orton (Terminator 2) and Sally Murphy (Carousel on Broadway). It's about the Susan Smith case a while back in Union, South Carolina where she tried to drown her kids but then made up this black guy as the main suspect. I haven't seen it myself yet, will do this coming Sunday, but hear it's had a very good response. Anyway if you fancy it then call the Box Office on 212 353 0303 and leave a message for Mike or Courtney. Tell them how many tickets blah blah blah and that you know me from this site etc.
Met up with Kevin and Nicola this afternoon, had some lunch then headed back to their hotel the Soho Grand to have a nosey at their room.
It's a great room with a brilliant view. Also in the Soho Grand you get free Kiehl's products which is fabulous. She was very sweet and offered me loads but I just took the soap which no one uses except my guests in the downstairs bathroom. They also have lots of silly stuff that you can use like the sexy pack or something like that. Basically it has all kinds of lubricants and oils etc to get you in the mood. Listen all I need is one of those in-hotel dirty movies and I'm all set thank you very much.
So we sat in the hotel bar for an eternity, constantly switching seats because it was fucking freezing. Then went down the street to another pub/bar, then after that went to Finneli's opposite the Mercer Hotel. It's always crowded in there and tonight was no exception.
After a while Kev and Nicola decided to call it a night and myself and the boy nipped into the Barrow on the way home for a late-night tipple. That's it, good night, very enjoyable.
Ok Ayla at the Barrow has produced a show called "Orphans" which is playing at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street. My friend Andres (very cute) is starring and that's about all I know. Yeah I know crap but I promise you that I will have a synopsis within the next few days to tell you all what it's about. Yes Ayla did sort of tell me last night but hey that was last night and your all well aware of my memory state, even when sober I forget everything.
