Well here we are Monday morning, July 1st....jeez this summer is going fast, which reminds me I have to gone down and see our management company and try to persuade them to NOT put our rent up in September. I managed to get a smaller increase in rent last year, but then got very angry when September 11th came and went and no one put any halts on the increase...greedy bastards. So I'll type up a letter later on and pass it on to the big haired woman that sits down in the basement increasing everyone's rent on a daily basis.
OK so it looks like our Tim Henman may make it through to the semi-finals, which I know hasn't happened for a very long time. Good god could he pull it off, could he be the first Brit to win Wimbledon since Fred Perry in 1936. Let all British people over here and over there keep every bit of their bodies crossed and support this lovely man.
So last night we went to see "Minority Report", not bad, great special effects and stunt work but as usual Spielberg has to have this happy ending crap and a little too much soppiness for my liking. It's good, I mean we enjoyed it, but it was too long and like I said the ending was too schmalsy for me. I doubt very much whether the book ended like that, bet it didn't.
Oh god Channel 4 have just gone from the women's tennis to Henman and Kratochvil. There in the middle of the second set, Henman is up by one set, and they're now battling for the second set, both having 6 points each......very exciting stuff.
Shit this is sooo intense, I can't move, I'm glued to the tv on this absolutely beautifully hot New York day. Well I'll work more on my web stuff, while watching the match, then go upstairs workout and sunbathe this afternoon. Actually I have three bites from sunning it yesterday, one on my elbow which is really itches, one on my hip and the other on my thigh, bit red welts, very attractive I'm sure.
Crap...now they have one set each, this is a great match.
