I'm obssessed with purchasing a new bureau thingy to put all our crystal and good dishes into to free up some of the cupboard space in our kitchen. So the best place to go for such a buy is the fleat market on 26th and 6th Avenue.

Of course to REALLY get the good buys you have to go at like 7 in the morning when it first opens but clearly that's not something that me and the hubby are going to do. Hey we may sometimes go to bed at 7 but not getting UP at 7.

So by the time we trekked over it was after 4pm and clearly there wasn't much left of anything, especially a much wanted bureau. I eventually settled on a beautiful green jewelled butterfly broach instead which is very in at the moment.

We also bought a new piece of Kenneth Cole luggage, yes some people might say that we are slightly obssessed with having too much luggage but we are going to be throwing out the old Samsonite cases which are crappy and I hate them. We managed to get $20 off our K.C. piece mainly because the guy just wanted rid of it and was willing to do a deal, not sure why though?  Hey, who cares!!  It's pretty fab actually and has a suit carrier inside it which was a bit of a surprise, plus a plastic bag clipped to the inside that you can put toiletries and so forth in...cool huh??

So this evening we went to see Blade II with Wesley Snipes. I remember enjoying the first Blade very much and wanted to see what they'd do with the new one.

I must admit to preferring the first one more but that's because the first one isn't as gory as this one. There is some SERIOUS gore in this film. I mean it's unrelenting, just gore all the time, oh yeah and tons more fight scenes. The man must be knackered, all he ever does is fight. The baddie is played by Luke Goss (remember Bros.) which is kind of a bizarre bit of casting but he does play quite a nasty baddie. Basically if your into gross nasty looking people that look like Nosferatu, then your gonna love this movie!!

They really are the nastiest looking people I've ever seen and they do this thing with their mouths that I won't say but you absolutely HAVE to see it for yourself. I think it's more of a guy film than a girls but then I've never conformed to watch just girlie movies. It was enjoyable, clearly not Oscar material, well come on anything with Snipes is in a serious B movie, but still very enjoyable.
