So yesterday I'm in the gym talking to my friend David, when he tells me that over on the treadmill is Edie Flaco, wow I was impressed
, I mean she's like big at the moment, especially after winning a Golden Globe Award last Sunday. I did end up running next to her and I must say she did an impressive run. Not sure how long she'd been on there prior to me, and I couldn't tell the distance, because her towel was over the board, but she looked in pretty good shape. In fact I saw her in the raw in "Frankie and Johnny" on Broadway and she looks a lot better now.
So that was fun seeing her. I then looked over and there's my pal Terry Kinney,
who I spoke with about my Ipod. Mine is a 10GB and he got his when it first came out, which is a 5GB and he was complaining how it doesn't stay charged and so on. He's nothing like you see him on tv, he's really nice and has a lovely smile and tiny little legs. Yeah I'm sure he wouldn't like that if I told him. Guess I won't then.
I don't think anyone knows who Terry is to be honest, I mean no one EVER looks at him, with that..."he's a celeb isn't he?" kind of look, you know? He plays the warden I think in HBO's Oz and he was also in The Sleeper, he also directed the play "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" on Broadway with Gary Sinise, so he's pretty respected. Yeah I know I LOVE seeing celebs, kind of sad really, but in my defence he spoke to me first, like a two years ago when Cliff (trainer) was putting him through the ringer and he was moaning to me how knackered he was.
So last night we got a late night visit from Al while we were playing Trivial Pursuit. I was embarrassed at first, as I thought he'd laugh at us, but it turns out that Trivial Pursuit is one of his favorites, so he promptly joined in.
It was fun, we had a good laugh, I think Morpheus won, but I wasn't paying too much attention.
So today has been a day filled with crap and more crap regarding my work, which is mainly because I'm massively stuck on something and I can't seem to fix it which is aggrevating because it's my deadline tomorrow, so I need to get this fucking thing sorted. I'm hoping that Morpheus can help me when he gets home, even though I'm sure he WILL NOT be in the mood.
So Kiwi Boy has just rang me from Sydney which is kind of cool that his cell phone works from over there. I think it's tomorrow lunch time there right now, which yes is very surreal, I like that though. He will be seeing Mackie tomorrow but in the meantime he was meeting up with friends to go out on a friendly lunchtime piss up, sounds like a plan.
So tonight I am doing absolutely nothing, maybe starting a new book from our huge collection of books upstairs, and then getting a relatively early night, so that I'm fresh for both the Vineyard AND the BID tomorrow.
Oh yeah Ricky, so how did your date go last night? Reveal ONLY what you want to be placed on here tomorrow...
