Now the Raelian sect founder Claude Vorilhon announced that through DNA testing a human clone baby could and HAD been born. This was backed up by US journalist Michael Guillen, clearly making this a world wide event that could begin a whole new meaning to the evolution process. I for one was intrigued.
And then comes the news on Monday of this week was it? That the whole thing may have been "an elaborate hoax" by the Raelian sect.
"This morning, I suspended the independent review process designed to determine whether or not a cloned human baby has been born," Guillen said in a statement.
"The team of scientists has had no access to the alleged family and, therefore, cannot verify firsthand the claim that a human baby has been cloned," he said.
"In other words, it's still entirely possible Clonaid's announcement is part of an elaborate hoax intended to bring publicity to the Raelian movement," Guillen said.
Apparently on December 26 there was the birth of was what claimed to be the world's first human baby. Then on the Saturday a secondy baby clone had been born to a lesbian couple in the Netherlands.
None of these "so called" births have been confirmed by independent scientitsts, and the Raelians have provided no proof to support their claims. But even after this Guillen insisted that it was true but that it was necessary for the procedures to operate in secret, in order to protect the identity of the alleged parents who were unwilling to reveal themselves, even though he himself had approached several broadcasters months before to offer exclusive coverage of the event.
It's all very confusing and I think somebody's pulling this guys chain, me thinks the freaky Raelians from Zorba the Planet Bullshit are the likely and ONLY culprits......

Oh yes I have news, my old pals Claire and Fletch are FINALLY getting married. They've been dating like FOREVER and have decided to finally throw their lives, oops freudian slip, tie the lovely romantic knot and be wed, this coming March 8th in a huge, fuck off estate near Hardian's Wall, Northmumberland, in England. So that should be a super trip all round really, now all we need to do is book our flights.
