Ok so first of all I have to let you in on a funny web site that I saw this morning. Actually I got the heads up from my Brit pal Simon Henry, the site is called www.milmillington.com which is written by this guy about his girlfriend, Margaret. This is what it says under a picture of her on the site...."Margaret (from the German "M' Argr et" meaning "to be dangerously insane") He's madder than me this one. It's very funny, I highly recommend it. In fact I think this guy has written some books as well? not sure, but go check it out, you'll like it.
Ok so this morning at approximately 6:42, yeah I know, well the fucking phone went didn't it? All I could hear was some guy yelling down the phone, god knows who that was? So of course I was awake then, so I'm watching the morning news and apparently Michael Jackson now wants a meeting with members of congress to discuss the on-going South African plight regarding the Aids epidemic? Which is all well and good, but don't you think he's just trying to distract everyone's attention AWAY from the child molestation case? I mean what is he playing at? Of course all of these members are refusing to meet with him as they don't want their picture in the paper alongside freako Jackson....hey who can blame them? shit I wouldn't want to have a picture taken with him AT ANY TIME, never mind right now.
So I'm having a few problems with one of my new clients. Well I like to have my fees settled and agreed upon BEFORE I begin work on a site, and to be honest this is proving difficult as they want me to estimate them a TOTAL COST, but that's kind of impossible as they still don't really know how many pages it will consist of even though she's said around 12, I think it's going to be more than likely 20 at the end, as she wants lots of surveys and subscription forms filling out which for some reason she doesn't think are WEB PAGES, well what are they then? So I'm a little worried and intend to distribute my newly designed business cards, once I pick them up this afternoon, with great enthusiasm, as I don't see this job happening. So I need more work people, oh yeah.
Before I go anywhere today I HAVE to call Julie, my girlfriend back home. Well she called me over the weekend, but I have yet to return her call, so I need to have a good girlie catch up, which unfortunately on my side will be crap cos I haven't done anything? Then again launching my web site and going to Barbados I guess is something?
So I was hoping to go away for a couple of days with Morpheus for Easter, but I don't see that happening somehow, well he didn't seem overly enthused about it when I mentioned it yesterday. Then again he's so tired right now, he's not exactly enthused about anything really...poor thing.
Alrighty then, Survivor is on tonight, for those of you who keep forgetting and think it's still on Thursdays. So that's me for this evening, nice and comfy on my still temporary Pottery Barn couch, oh shit that reminds me, I must call them.
