So apparently Hooters is opening in China? Not sure though if Chinese women have the puppies that the girls have over here, so the costumes will be a little smaller no?
Ok so how happy am I that the little pain in the ass Stacy from The Apprentice has been fired. The whole look of her was annoying, the nose, the big starry eyes when in shock mode. The size of her, too dwarfy for me I'm afraid, but more than that, she was just so fucking annoying What made me laugh was that Trump didn't really have a valid reason for firing her, I think she just annoyed the hell out of him like she did the rest of us. Then again she would NEVER take any responsibility for anything that went wrong, and lots of things did. To be honest though, with this seasons lot, there isn't really any one of them that I like or admire, they're all really annoying, especially that Raj guy, he's just a dick.
So yeah I had a pretty good day yesterday, the work at Viscaya has gone (well up to now) without a hitch, my computer is working again, I had a delightfully fantastic lunch with Marla and her new little girl Alexandra who is just a cutie pie, god she's only 3 weeks old, but is so alert and active, she's great. And being Marla she didn't come laden with strollers, bags of pampers, lots of extra stuff that isn't really necessary. No she had one, over the shoulder bag, (not too big) and a sling that held the baby in it, and that was it. Fantastic, very impressive.
So we sat, we caught up, we had a lovely lunch over on Bleecker then she came back to see my apartment, which gladly I'd tidied up, and happily she loved the place. So yeah it was lovely to see her, nice to catch up. Then last night I walked over to see Aphrodite, Hermes and baby Michael, who is now a big boy and runs around that apartment like he owns the joint. A very happy, sweet little boy, they should be proud.
So yeah me and Aphrodite went across the street to a tiny little pizzeria with the most fantastic pizzas, just delicious, especially as I'm not a huge pizza fan, but they're baked in a proper oven kiln and the toppings are fab, loved it.
So yeah I was home before 9, so then I began to watch Survivor and then The Apprentice, lovely evening, good nights sleep and now I'm ready to kick ass.
Well I have a meeting/interview with a company on 36th and 7th Avenue today to maintain their current web site, so I'm meeting a girl/woman (thinks its a very young hip company, what the fuck should I wear?) to discuss me updating/maintaining their web site, so we'll see. Not sure how it's going to work, think they have a lot of back end programming stuff on their site, so not sure how that will work? Anyway whatever I'm going to go and check it out, see what the deal is anyway. Actually maybe I'll go and nip to Banana Republic and get me some pants as I don't really have anything appropriate to wear?
And tonight I think I'm off to the Tribeca Theater Festival which is part of the Tribeca Film Festival working in conjunction with the Drama Desk on "Downtown Plays" which are short new plays by New York's top playwrights. So for instance tonight all nine plays will be shown, think it's like 2.5 hours long, by my pal Moranis assures me that they are definitely worth seeing.
