Well I kind of wish I wasn't working today as it's gonna be a scorcher out there. I've already been down to Pearl Paint in China Town with Stephen this morning as he need to pick up supplies, so instead of hitting the gym, I figured a good brisk walk to China Town and back would do me good. Actually I have ideas of where the bathrooms are in public stores from here up toward 28th street, but downtown I'm clueless, and of course I need to go AGAIN, 10 minutes after we left here, so I nipped in my gym and went there, then again at Pearl Paint. It's really annoying, but what can I do, I have to go a lot....
So unfortunately I missed last night's Amazing Race as our tv went on the blink. And of course friggin Time Warner Cable TOTALLY suck, this stupid woman just kept asking me to turn off the power on and off again, then was like "oh I don't know, let me give you a work order number for someone to come out next tuesday"....
IS SHE FUCKING KIDDING ME???
Next Tuesday, with a crappy, rainy weekend coming up, is she completely off her rocker? God I HATE Time Warner Cable with a passion, they suck, they don't care, they're NEVER on time.....
Anyway we ended up watching Final Descent the snow boarding movie which was really good, then crashed and THANK GOD this morning after I unplugged the power, the tv resumed power.....phew....
Hey I know tv isn't that important to a lot of people, but to me, when I get that nasty tingly feeling in my legs and one of my headaches which occur quite a lot these days, the tv is my savior....
So work was a tad stressful yesterday. Well the boys are great, but there's a lot of confusion about how things are done etc and then of course there's the lovely Manny who I love to pieces, but he does have the tendency to delegate and throw his weight around which is rather frustrating, so I'm constantly telling him off. Actually when I walked in yesterday he comes straight into my office giving me directions on what he needs doing, until I finally told him to go away as I hadn't even taken my coat off. God help if he tries that one again today......
So this evening we're off to see Candy and Camille who is an old pal of mine who has decided that she's had enough of New York and is returning to her home....TEXAS. She's a great laugh, I haven't seen her for like a year, not for any bad reason, but you know how it is, you lose touch, yada yada. So there meeting at a bar on 8th and 33rd tonight which is close by and a nice walk, so we'll go and pop our heads in and see everyone. Well the weather is truly delightful today, so it will be nice to be on a roof top early doors....
