Ok then well swiftly moving on...so how is everybody, it's a LITTLE cooler today, not much though. Aw Stephen moved the fan that was on top of our closet down to the side of my bed, propped on a chair last night so that I could get the full effects of the cool air. It was lovely, although I didn't sleep well because a certain unborn son of mine decided AGAIN to have a party. Good grief he was active last night, what IS HE DOING DOWN THERE? Guess he's getting ready for his big appearance huh?
So we got some lovely new stuff for the baby yesterday, people are very generous and the apartment is now piling up with stuff to carry, transport and put my son in....EXCELLENT.
Also we saw the lovely Tim and Tracy last night who very kindly gave enough cash to Dwane so that he could get a case of champagne for the Baby Shower, which is great and very kind of them.
I think the pair of them probably think we're very boring as I had a sneaky suspicion that they wanted to drink more as opposed to eating, but myself and Stephen, well mainly me, are very boring these days and just want to eat, come home watch a total of maybe 1 hours worth of tv then crash. Yup I'm afraid it's true, eating and sleeping is top priority these days. Of course a bit of shagging in between is good aswell, but in this heat, not a chance, i just want to lie very still like and close my eyes and hopefully have a BIT of breeze blowing over me....
So we may have a slight problem with regards to building the baby room. Well if we want to use any part of the existing structure as in the walls then the building people need to send engineers and architects round which costs a LOT of money, so that's not good. Although we're not really banging into walls, but we do want to add some sheet rock to build his room, but want to make sure that we are within the buildings guidelines to do that, so that's a little stressful. So anyway Stephen will call Cynthia down in the office today to get the EXACT details of what we can and can't do and how we can save money by NOT having the architects come by and my chore is to go and see some of the neighbors and ask what they needed to do when they built rooms within their own apartments.
We've got to get this right or we'll be in trouble....
Well I'm happy it's Friday, although my work days are only like 3/4 hours per day right now, so I'm in at 9 this morning and out at 12, great for most people, I personally would rather do more, but it is what it is.
So I will go and see neighbors when I get back, then go to Old Navy, then head over to the studio and meet up with Stephen to finally go and get him his new phone which he should of had for his birthday.....last June.....aaarrgghh.
Oh yeah I have a new handbag...yay. Well Mitch is the photographer on the floor that Stephen's antique studio is on and he uses lots of props with his work, so yesterday he brought a massive bag to the studio with glasses, handbags etc and Stephen saw this huge green leather big bag which is a Donald Pliner I believe? Anyway he grabbed that and brought it home for me. Well he throws this stuff out after he's used it, so I'm off up there this afternoon to check that Stephen didn't overlook anything else that I might like, or Francesca, or my mother etc.....yay free stuff, love it.
