Hello everyone, so how are you all? I'm excellent, bit hot, well the heaters are now fully working in our apartment and my oh my do they let off a huge amount of heat...bloody hell, it's like a friggin sauna in here. Poor little Reef's face skin is always red right now and I truly believe it may be because of the heat and not that baby acne anymore....poor thing. Well we don't bundle her up at home anymore like we used to, it's way too hot and you only need to clothe babies the same as you would do yourself, so just one little pj is quite enough.
So maybe it's in my head, but I swear I stink of stale milk right now. Every time I sniff I get a huge wave of stinky milk smell. It's not the apartment, I swear it's me, so I'm going take a cool shower and scrub the crap out of myself. Well yeah I do leak sometimes, but not a lot and not loads, and of course I always sponge myself afterwards. Maybe it's just my imagination. Then again I'm hoping for a shag this evening, so I'd better get shot of this smell, not exactly sexy stuff for Stephen to come rushing home to...
So our weekend was excellent, lots of fun. On Saturday we went to Dublin 6, met up with Sabina and Dwane and had an absolute riot with them, we then went and had the wonderful steak dinner in the restaurant, well up until missy needed changing so I had to try and do that in the loo downstairs which WAS NOT easy as there's no clear open surfaces there, so I had to kind of change her underneath the hand sanitizer thing, which kept dripping on the mat, very annoying. Then once that was done I was desperately trying to get back to my lovely steak dinner, but got stopped by a very large table of very happy lesbians celebrating a friends table. Each and every one of them wanted to look at Reef, so I had to do the honors and show her off. They were all very nice, but I did notice that they were ALL BLONDE. Probably just a coincidence, but there was like over 20 of them, so that was pretty bizarre and i'm SURE a couple of them were wearing wigs. I dunno maybe it was a theme thing.
Yeah so that was fun, we got home and had a bit more red wine and went to b ed at 12:30, which is EXTREMELY late for us these days, so yeah it was naughty, but very fun. We gave her formula throughout the night and then at like 3 in the morning I had to get up and pump as my boobs were absolutely KILLING ME, god they were sooo painful. Well they were swollen with all the milk that hadn't been removed, so it was very uncomfortable. Hey I only have myself to blame...
Yeah soo yesterday I spent most of it pumping and playing with missy, while a very hungover Stephen some painting, which was impressive, better some than none. So also yesterday we went to Boxer's for lunch, which is just as well because it was there last day of business. They've lost their lease, so that's that, it's all over. Amazing really as Boxers has been in the Village FOREVER, so it was quite sad.
Ok she's stirring, better get going, off out today, thank god it's nice weather. Well my cleaner is coming, so I need to get out. Off to Coco's I think, oh crap I have to go and get another money order at the post office, that should be fun...NOT.
